NeoDyne Celebrates 25 Years in Business

NeoDyne celebrated 25 years in business with an anniversary event at Ditchley House on the grounds of the Radisson Blu Hotel, Little Island, Cork. On a gloriously sunny day, NeoDyne employees celebrated in style with great food and live music.

Founded by Ger Hellen in 1998 in Mitchelstown, Cork, with just 3 employees, the Company has gone from strength to strength, now employing over 150 electrical, automation and MES engineers across four offices in Ireland (Cork, Dublin, Galway, and Kilkenny) and two in the UK (Chesterfield and Hemel Hempstead). As a leading electrical engineering and industrial automation solution and services provider, the Company’s customer portfolio extends to over 300 companies, including large multinationals in pharma, high-end food and beverage manufacturing and energy.

Commenting on the milestone, Ger Hellen, Company founder, said:

On the occasion of NeoDyne’s 25th anniversary, I feel an immense sense of pride and accomplishment. Watching the Company grow from just 3 employees in my garage to over 150 engineers across 6 offices in Ireland and the UK has been fantastic. As we’ve diversified and expanded into new markets, we’ve seen significant growth in the scale and operation of the business. However, the Company focus remains the same – a commitment to delivering outstanding value to its customers. Customers see the value of NeoDyne’s services day-in-day-out as the Company’s reputation across Ireland, the UK, and globally continues to grow. We have every reason to celebrate NeoDyne’s history, culture, and enduring purpose. I’m excited to see what the Company and the new management team will achieve in the coming years.

Ger Hellen
Founder of NeoDyne

Martin Farrell, Managing Director, thanked Ger Hellen for his expert steering of the Company over the past 25 years and wished him well in his retirement. He said, “I have been with NeoDyne since 2001, joining as a graduate. During that time, I have witnessed the Company’s transformation from a small operation into an internationally recognised leader in system integration, power generation and transmission & distribution. We’re in the business of transforming our customers’ operations, and together with our employees and technology partners, we make a difference every day, designing and commissioning leading-edge solutions.”

Martin added, “Ger Hellen’s vision, drive and demand for deep knowledge in all areas of the business has taken the Company to where it is now. He has handed over the reins to a new management team, whose goal is to maintain those core values”.

Thanking NeoDyne employees for their role in the Company’s success, Martin said, “Our Company is built on people, and we wouldn’t be here today without our employees’ expertise and dedication. Our success is down to their ability to embrace new technologies and become experts in their fields. NeoDyne is poised for significant further expansion, and we will build this on our culture of promotion from within, investing in our people and employee recognition.”

As a closing note, Martin added, “As we look to the future, today is a day to celebrate our history and what we have accomplished. 25 years in business is an immense achievement, and we look forward to celebrating many more milestones in the next 25 years.”
