Position Summary

NeoDyne is seeking a highly experienced Syncade MES Engineer to support one of our key client sites on a contract basis. The successful candidate will work closely with the NeoDyne team and play a critical role in delivering automation expertise across the Dublin based site.

Key Responsibilities

·       Configure and implement Syncade MES workflows, master batch records (MBRs), and user interfaces tailored to site-specific manufacturing processes

Experience & Skills

Required

·       5+ years’ experience delivering MES solutions in GMP life sciences manufacturing, with strong hands-on experience using Emerson Syncade

·       Proven capability in MBR development, recipe design, and configuration of Syncade modules (materials management, equipment tracking, work instructions, etc.)

·       Good working knowledge of cGMP, GAMP5, and 21 CFR Part 11 principles

This contract role offers the opportunity to work on high-value projects in a technically challenging environment, acting as the primary engineering interface for E&I systems. Key Responsibilities

The E&I Project Engineer will play a critical role in the execution of E&I scopes across multiple projects. Responsibilities will include:

·       Acting as the technical lead for all electrical, instrumentation, life safety, and control systems within assigned projects.

·       Reviewing and approving design deliverables including schematics, layouts, loop drawings, datasheets, I/O lists, and related engineering documentation.

·       Supporting in-house electrical design efforts such as load calculations, circuit allocation, redlines, and development of drawings and specifications.

Experience & Skills

Required

·       Degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent qualification) combined with a trade background as a qualified electrician (FETAC accredited or equivalent).

MES Engineer (POMSnet)

NeoDyne is a leading Irish and UK Industrial Automation and Electrical Engineering company. Our B2B customer base extends to over 300 companies with turnover predominantly from large multinationals in pharma, high-end food and beverage manufacturing and energy sectors. The company is 25 years old and employs over 200 talented automation, electrical and IT engineers across offices in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Waterford, and Chesterfield, UK.

We are currently seeking MES Engineers (2+ years' experience in POMSnet) to work on leading-edge automation projects, predominantly in the Energy, Life Science and Food & Beverage sectors.

This role is offered as a full-time staff position based full-time on a customer site in Cork, with an excellent salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities/ Duties

• Working with a team of digital manufacturing/automation engineers managing and delivering projects to customer sites
• Coordinating with the Process, Design teams to review and update the design as per Process
• Responsible for validating and testing the MES Recipe design as per process logic and mapping
• Developing engineering design documents, technical evaluations, and test plans for cGMP process equipment and following GAMP 5 guidelines.
• Preparation of Functional Design specification
• Incident management: Raising tickets and coordinating with other support teams and application vendor for resolving issues and accordingly tracking them to close
• Change management: Raising change requests based on the MES Application modification / upgrade requirements from the Business
• Implementing, testing and deploying the changes as per requirement.
• Working closely with customers to identify areas for improvement through the use of automation and data analytics technology.
• Providing technical and automation operational support to Engineering, Manufacturing, Validation and Facilities departments.

Qualifications/ Skills/ Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/ Computer Science / Information Systems or related field.
• 2 or more years’ MES engineering experience.
• Experience working with POMSnet.
• Experience working with validated Automation systems in the Pharmaceutical or Food Beverage manufacturing environment.

• Manage compilation of completed commissioning documentation and regular progress reporting to stakeholders
• Coordinate handover and training to O&M teams

Qualifications

Required

• Level 8 Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
• 10+ years of experience leading commissioning activities for projects in the Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, or Oil & Gas industries
• Strong understanding of control systems, electrical systems, instrumentation, and mechanical equipment related to power generation.
• Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, SLDs, P&IDs, and system specifications
