NeoDyne is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrical Engineer to act as the asset management representative for the HV electrical systems associated with the new compressor installations to support one of our key national critical infrastructure customers on a contract basis. The successful candidate will support the project during the design, procurement and planning phases, ensuring that asset lifecycle, reliability and operational requirements are embedded within the engineering design and vendor packages.

The role will involve collaboration with project delivery teams, equipment vendors and construction contractors to ensure that high-voltage assets are designed, specified and delivered in line with long-term operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the asset management representative for high-voltage electrical systems associated with Electric Motor Driven Compressor (EMD) installations.
• Participate in design reviews, technical risk assessments and engineering workshops during project development.
• Define asset lifecycle requirements for new HV equipment including maintenance strategies, reliability targets and spare parts philosophies.
• Develop Functional Specifications & Requirements (FSR) for HV assets and associated electrical systems.
• Support the procurement process including preparation of technical specifications, tender evaluations and vendor clarification meetings.
• Review vendor engineering deliverables for HV switchgear, transformers, variable speed drives (VSD), large motor systems and protection and control systems.
• Provide technical oversight and coordination with equipment vendors and construction contractors during design development.
• Ensure new assets align with ISO55001 asset management principles and long-term operational requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, procurement and project delivery.

Required Experience & Skills

• 10+ years’ experience in high-voltage electrical engineering.
• Experience in the design, operation or maintenance of HV electrical assets within sectors such as energy infrastructure, utilities or industrial facilities.
• Strong technical knowledge of HV equipment including switchgear, transformers, variable speed drives and protection systems.
• Experience supporting engineering design reviews and technical assurance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the configuration, maintenance and day-to-day operation of the AVEVA PI System (Data Archive, AF, Vision).

• Develop and maintain PI AF structures and templates aligned to plant equipment and process areas.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Engineering

• Develop Protection and Control (P&C) designs for HV and MV substations, including protection schemes, control schematics, SLDs, and interlocking diagrams.
• Specify and design AC/DC auxiliary systems, control panels, marshalling cabinets, and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare Protection Coordination Studies, fault current calculations, and relay grading reports.
• Select and configure protection relays and prepare detailed relay setting files.
• Design and implement substation automation systems (SAS), RTU/PLC logic, and IEC 61850-based systems.
• Create detailed control logic diagrams, signal lists, and communication interfaces for SCADA, RTU, and IED integration.

Testing, Commissioning, and Verification

• Develop Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) procedures for control and protection systems.
• Carry out relay testing, secondary injection, and end-to-end testing.
• Verify correct protection functionality, trip logic, interlocking, and communication protocols.
• Provide on-site technical support during commissioning, energisation, and fault-finding phases.

Documentation and Compliance

• Produce comprehensive design documentation, wiring schedules, technical specifications, and as-built drawings.
• Ensure compliance with EirGrid, ESB Networks, and IEC/EN standards, as well as client-specific design rules.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of design templates, engineering standards, and QA processes.

Project Delivery and Collaboration

• Reporting to the Lead or Senior Engineering Manager on projects
• Providing guidance and training to junior and graduate engineers.
• Engage with clients, OEMs, and suppliers to clarify design interfaces, technical requirements, and delivery schedules.
• Support proposal development, cost estimation, and technical tender reviews for new projects.

Position Summary

NeoDyne is seeking a highly experienced Senior OT Cybersecurity Analyst to support one of our key customers on a long-term contract basis. The successful candidate will be embedded in the security operations team and will also work closely with the NeoDyne team and play a critical role in delivering OT cybersecurity expertise across multiple sites. This is a technically hands-on role focused on network security, firewall management, threat detection, and secure remote access, with oversight of key systems and vendors. The position will be based in Cork with a requirement to visit the customer's Cork office at least twice a week with travel to other sites as required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day support for cyber operations across multiple remote sites.
• Manage and maintain firewall infrastructure (Palo Alto, CheckPoint, Cisco).
• Operate and monitor remote access platforms (e.g. Secomea, BeyondTrust), ensuring proper auditing and logging.

• Third Level qualification in suitable manufacturing, engineering or business course and/or suitable experience.
• A minimum of 2 years recipe authoring experience preferably using POMSnet.
• Be familiar with MES application and configuration rules and requirements including interfacing (preferably POMSnet).
• Database design and development in Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle.
• UX design and development in Angular, C#, Javascript, ASP.Net Core.
• PLC Programming/HMI/SCADA experience desirable: Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, etc.

Desired

• Strong knowledge of cGMP and regulatory requirements relating to the pharmaceutical industry.
• A good knowledge of IT systems is required for this role.
