Celebrating our 2025 Work Placement Students

To mark the close of NeoDyne’s 2025 work placement programme, we gathered at Fota Clubhouse to recognise the achievements and contributions of this year’s cohort of students.

Over placements ranging from 4 to 8 months, we were delighted to welcome 14 students from University College Cork (UCC), Munster Technological University (MTU), South East Technological University (SETU), and the University of Galway. Coming from varied disciplines including Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Physics and Industrial Pharmaceutical Sciences, they made a real impact and quickly became valued members of the NeoDyne team.

As their placements progressed, they took on complex engineering challenges across our Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, and Digital Manufacturing business specialisations, gaining valuable experience in electrical design, industrial automation, and commissioning. Several also had the opportunity to travel and work on customer sites, including energy centres and substations, where they gained first-hand insight into our cutting-edge technologies and project delivery.

Speaking at the event, Kevin Dollard (Director) said:

"Developing future engineering talent has always been at the heart of NeoDyne. Our work placement programme provides students with real-world, hands-on experience and gives us the opportunity to support the next generation of engineers. We greatly value the enthusiasm and fresh perspectives our students bring to NeoDyne, and we are proud so many return to us as graduates each year."
