The role requires expertise in DeltaV, batch automation, and GMP environments. Key Responsibilities · Configure DeltaV for batch recipes, phases, and equipment modules per functional design specifications. · Develop and implement control logic and interlock schemes for safe and compliant operation. · Perform software testing, simulation, and troubleshooting of DeltaV configurations. · Execute Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning support. · Work with process engineers, automation teams, and validation personnel to ensure seamless integration. · Support GMP documentation including URS, FDS, DDS, test scripts, and change controls. · Assist in troubleshooting and optimizing DeltaV system performance. Required Experience & Skills · 4+ years of experience with DeltaV in a biopharmaceutical or life sciences environment. · Strong understanding of batch processing, S88 standards, and GMP regulations. Hands-on experience in recipe configuration, equipment module programming, and control logic development. · Experience with testing methodologies such as FAT, SAT, and commissioning. Ability to interpret P&IDs, process descriptions, and automation design documents. · Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. · Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and collaboration.

What will I be doing? Our graduate programme will be all about learning new and developing your existing skills. You will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art engineering software for control and protection design and substation layouts. You will also get to use leading-edge power system modelling software to run steady state and transient electrical studies, including short circuit studies, protection coordination and grid compliance studies for proposed renewable generation. Generating technical documentation and dealing with customers will also be key parts of our graduate programme to help develop your soft skills. You will also have the opportunity to travel to customer sites to get involved in installation, testing, and commissioning.

What will I be doing? Our graduate programme will be all about learning new and developing your existing skills. Projects could include HV/MV electrical design, power generation, PLC and SCADA automation, control logic programming, control panel hardware design, and site testing & commissioning. You will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art engineering software for control and protection design and substation layouts. You will also get to use leading-edge power system modelling software to run steady state and transient electrical studies, including short circuit studies, protection coordination and grid compliance studies for proposed renewable generation. Generating technical documentation and dealing with customers will also be key parts of our graduate programme to help develop your soft skills. Projects could include HV/MV electrical design, power generation, PLC and SCADA automation, control logic programming, control panel hardware design, and site testing & commissioning. You will have the opportunity to use state-of-the-art engineering software for control and protection design and substation layouts. You will also get to use leading-edge power system modelling software to run steady state and transient electrical studies, including short circuit studies, protection coordination and grid compliance studies for proposed renewable generation. Generating technical documentation and dealing with customers will also be key parts of our graduate programme to help develop your soft skills. You will also have the opportunity to travel to customer sites to get involved in installation, testing, and commissioning.
